Our Practice
                                      Dr. Kevin Ikeda
                                       Dr. Kevin Ikeda was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in California.  Dr. Ikeda received
                                       his Bachelor's degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and his Doctorate from
                                       the Southern California College of Optometry.

                                       Shortly after graduation, Dr. Ikeda moved to Santa Paula where he began private practice in     
                                        1979. He has been a continuous member and past President of the TriCounty Optometric         
                                        Society as well as active committee member of the California Optometric Association and a        
                                        member of the American Optometric Association. Dr, Ikeda is also an active volunteer for          
                                        VOSH, an international eyecare organization partnered with the World Health Organization        
                                        and dedicated to eliminating preventable blindness worldwide by 2020. Past missions have       
                                        included work in the South Pacific and Central America.

Dr. Ikeda is the father of 3 children all who grew up in Santa Paula. He has been a member and past President of the
Santa Paula Jaycees, and is a current member of the Santa Paula Optimist Club. He has also served as a board
member on various volunteer organizations such as the Santa Paula Youth Employment Service and the Brigg's
Education Foundation.
Dr. Aaron M. Luekenga
Dr. Aaron Luekenga was born and reared in Nampa Idaho. After graduating from Brigham
Young University he received his doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry.

Dr. Luekenga began practice as an officer in U.S. Navy working with F18 fighter pilots their
crew and families. Honing his skills with the most visually demanding patients in the world he
also advanced his skills in treating ocular trauma including foreign body removal, ocular
lesion excision, treating and managing ocular disease and managing refractive surgery.

Working in a hospital setting and operationally based clinics Dr. Luekenga developed the
ability to work with physicians and providers of all specialties from pediatrics to internal
medicine and radiology to surgery, allowing him to better help and understand the entire patient, not just their eyes.

Since Joining Heritage Valley Eye Care in 2005 Dr. Luekenga has enjoyed private practice and the opportunity to
develop lasting relationships with his patients. Presently he is a member of various community and optometric
organizations including serving on the board of Tri-Counties Optometric Society and the Heritage Valley chapter of
Business Network International.

Away from the office Dr. Luekenga enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
